Hi! I'm Lael
Liberal Candidate for Watson Lake–Ross River–Faro
I’m Lael Lund, a third-generation Watson Laker and long-time resident with over 35 years of lived and professional experience specifically in Southeast Yukon. I come from a family rooted in service — my grandmother owned the Watson Lake Hotel, and I learned early the value of hard work and showing up for community.
I’ve spent more than two decades working across the Yukon in tourism, marketing, communications, and community economic development, working in the service of Yukon First Nations, non-profits, and businesses across industries.
With an MBA in Community Economic Development and longstanding working and familial ties to the Kaska community, I bring practical experience and cultural understanding to everything I do.
I’ve lived and worked in Upper Liard and Watson Lake for many years and have remained actively involved in local initiatives focused on growth and positive change.
Now, I’m ready to serve as your MLA — to listen, advocate, and help turn local priorities into action.
